The cast and crew of David Nicholls' Us reveal BBC One's adaptation of his award-winning romantic novel. And leading actors Colin Farrell and Jack O'Connell appear via VT, as we launch epic event thriller The North Water with an exclusive preview.
Comedy: Uniting the World with Laughter         Comedy can reach beyond borders and bring people together. We're very excited to launch brilliant new comedy The First Team, which follows the hilarious misadventures of three young professional footballers. Hear from actor Will Arnett, acclaimed producer Tom Werner (Roseanne, 3rd Rock from the Sun, That '70s Show) and award-winning writers Iain Morris and Damon Beesley (The Inbetweeners). This session also gives you an exclusive opportunity to hear about The Offenders, from multi-award winning writer, actor and creator Stephen Merchant, and double BAFTA-winning executive producer Kenton Allen. Plus, our slate features returning series from Britain's best comedy voices, including This Country, new Alan Partridge, Inside No.9 and Back.
Drama: Genre That Dares to Be Different         BBC Studios continues to take drama into new spaces. We transform genres – pushing the boundaries in crime and fantasy with dramas that dare to be different. Hear from the cast and crews behind two new character-driven shows that are sure to be talked about. We Hunt Together is a visually stunning, provocative cat-and-mouse thriller from Cheat creator Gaby Hull. And BBC America's The Watch is a bold, riotous, genre-busting series inspired by Sir Terry Pratchett's bestselling novels. Plus, Doctor Who showrunner Chris Chibnall is joined by 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker to discuss the legacy and future of this quintessentially British Time Lord.
